The Office for Structural Systems and Spatial Structures at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Architecture was founded in 1963 by Academician Đorđe Zloković. Prof. dr. Miodrag Nestorović joined the office in 1974, and Doc. dr Jelena Milošević in 2009. The principal activities of the office are education and scientific research. Studies focus on several areas, including structural systems, structural analysis, structural design methodology, form-finding, fabrication techniques, and construction technology. Essential to our geometrically oriented approach is understanding the design and engineering problems, and development of methods, algorithms, and tools for design and construction of highly efficient structural systems.
