Master Project
The Master Project engages students in research and design complex problems related to spatial structures in architecture. Through master projects, students test concepts, methods, and tools which allow the design of unconventional, rational, sustainable structures in specific contexts. The master project aims to introduce students to a high degree of independence at all stages of the project.
The Master Project is a study unit in the final year of Master Studies of Architecture, and it is composed of:
_ Master Thesis and
_ Master Design.
The Master Project is a work in which the student connects all the acquired knowledge and skills, and demonstrates that he/she manages the process of research, conceptualization, design, and materialization of a complex problem. By creating a master project student graduates. The topic of the master project is synthetic and requires the application of a wide range of previously acquired knowledge, skills, and competences. The work involves project-driven research of spatial structures that facilitates students to explore diverse concepts in a practical design situation. The results of the master project are written-thesis and graphical and spatial design representation. At the end of the course, public exhibition and oral public defense before the commission.
